Of course I didn't read the "tell your principal before the weekend" memo because it's now the weekend and I'm just getting to my emails from the last few days!! LOL! But even though I'm at school working today and probably will tomorrow as well in order to be prepared for next week and the needs of the students- I am proud of the work I do and the connections I make with, and the support I provide for students and families. And yes, I do use the word "advocate" a LOT when advising everyone other than myself. Thanks for the little boost in empathy that I now feel for my students. Note to self: "Walk the Talk!".
